Privacy policy

Draft — pending legal review. This page describes Uomma's intended privacy practices and is not yet a finalized legal policy.

What we collect

Account details, your professional profile and résumé, your assessment and interview responses, identity documents submitted for verification, and basic usage data needed to operate the platform.

How we use it

To match professionals to roles, to run AI-assisted assessment with human recruiter review, and to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Consent

We process personal information on the basis of consent, in line with Canada's PIPEDA. Your consent is recorded, and you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

AI-assisted processing

Assessments and interviews are analyzed with AI to evaluate candidates consistently. A Uomma recruiter reviews results before anything is shared with an employer — no candidate advances on an automated score alone.

Sharing

A candidate's details are shared with an employer only after recruiter approval and the candidate's consent, and identities are revealed only when an employer expresses interest.

Retention

Identity-verification documents are removed once the related role closes; verification status is retained on the profile. Other data is kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

Access is restricted and audit-logged, documents are stored securely, and meaningful actions are recorded for accountability.
